Massage Cupping

What is Massage Cupping?

The most basic explanation is to call it “Reverse Massage”, or “Negative Pressure Massage”.

Massage Cupping is a traditional time honored treatment remaining favored by millions of people world wide because it is safe, comfortable, and remarkably effective for many health disorders.  It is the use of suction rather than compression for bodywork ranging from myofacial release to lymphatic drainage and everything in between.

Massage Cupping causes tissues to release toxins, stimulates the lymphatic, skin and circulatory systems.
Massage Cupping rapidly facilitates rigid soft tissue release. It loosens, and lifts connective tissue, then breaks up and drains stagnation in ways not possible with compression massage.
On a deeper therapeutic level, Massage Cupping is beneficial for relieving many conditions including headaches, migraines, colon blockages, fibromyalgia, asthma, and pinched nerves. When the cups move the Negative Pressure Massage feels fantastic. The pulling action engages the Parasympathetic Nervous System thus allowing deep relaxation to move through the entire body.
As a massage therapist, I have found cupping to be one of the most effective ways to relieve muscular stress & tension. It is fabulous for Pre and Post Operative Healing.

Massage Cupping provides effective treatment allowing me to work on several parts of the body at one time. Cups can be on one area while I am massaging another area.
